Guid of Product Care

Sliver

  • H2O sensitive. Avoid water when wearing your piece, because over time the sterling silver will oxidize.
  • However, the oils in your skin help keep sterling silver from oxidizing faster.
  • Clean your jewellery carefully with a soft, non-abrasive and lint-free cloth or chamois; this helps maintain or bring back its shine.

14k Gold Vermeil

Sweat and water, no thank you. Before exercising or showering, remove your vermeil jewelry. Clean your piece by buffing gently with a dry cloth and store it in your pouch.

Gemstone

salt water and fresh water can damage precious metals and gemstones by dulling or eroding them. Use soapy water and soft brush to keep gemstone clean and shiny.

Diamond

A simple plan to keep your diamond jewelry looking beautiful is to soak it in a gentle degreasing solution, such as water with a few drops of mild dish soap, once or twice a week. After you remove the diamond from the cleaning solution, use a soft, clean toothbrush to remove any remaining dirt.

Something need to be avoided

Do not swim or shower while wearing gold-plated or silver jewellery, Gold and silver are particularly susceptible to damage from chlorine. Soapy water when bathing and showering can also leave a thin film, which makes the metal seem dull.

Liquids and oils can seep into the gems through the tiny cracks between the crystals, causing permanent discolouration and damage. In addition, porous gems should not be worn to a beach or other hot, extreme environments.

Avoid using ‘dip’ polish or abrasive jewellery cleaners as these contain harsh chemicals and can destroy your jewellery over time.

Allergies

If you are allergic to gold-plated earrings, or get a rash or itchy reaction when wearing them, please immediately stop wearing.
